Women of all ages are invited to attend.  This year's theme is "Barriers, Walls and Stop-Gaps" and the theme verse is:  "But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again.."  (Isaiah 40:31 NCV).  The retreat, a casual, fun, uplifting weekend will be hled at Cmap Asbury in Hiram, Ohio.  Please call Marilyn Spena in the church office with any questions at 440-543-5505.

Families Anonymous

Families Anonymous Meetings are held at Lord of Life on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Families Anonymous is a super group of people just like you helping “anyone whose life has been adversely affected by another person’s use of drugs, alcohol, or related behavioral problems.” No one will be shocked at what you are facing; they simply hope to help you face your situation as others have helped them. Anonymous means no last names, no forms to complete, no formal sign-up.

Helping Local Food Banks

By supporting two local food banks, we take seriously Jesus’ call to “feed the hungry.” Collection boxes for donated items are located near the Welcome Center in the Gathering Space. Please remember to check expiration dates; community food banks cannot accept outdated food.
Both food banks are always appreciative of any donations.

Food for Friends & Burton Food Bank current needs:  small jars of mayonnaise, canned beets and carrots, and facial tissue.
