Craft-it Forward - September 3

Come and spend time with others to create handmade greeting cards.  The cards are used to share handwritten messages of care, thanks, hope and encouragement for all persons that need a kind "word".  The group meets at Lord of Life on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:00-10:00 p.m.  Come join us for fun and fellowship.

Families Anonymous

Families Anonymous Meetings are held at Lord of Life on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Families Anonymous is a super group of people just like you helping “anyone whose life has been adversely affected by another person’s use of drugs, alcohol, or related behavioral problems.” No one will be shocked at what you are facing; they simply hope to help you face your situation as others have helped them. Anonymous means no last names, no forms to complete, no formal sign-up.

Helping Local Food Banks

By supporting two local food banks, we take seriously Jesus’ call to “feed the hungry.” Collection boxes for donated items are located near the Welcome Center in the Gathering Space. Please remember to check expiration dates; community food banks cannot accept outdated food.
Both food banks are always appreciative of any donations.

Food for Friends & Burton Food Bank current needs:  napkins, paper towels, toilet paper and other paper products, cake mixes, oatmeal, and any type of canned food, especially canned soups.
