The Burton Food Bank lost $5,500 in funding for 2014. As a supporting congregaiton of this important ministry, our goal is to raise this amount to help fund their ministry in 2014. Each dollar contributed for this purpose in December will be matched. So, if we gather $2,750, we can fully fund the loss anticipated in 2014. If you can help, please make checks out to Lord of Life with "Burton Food Bank" in the memo line. Thanks!
Families Anonymous Meetings are held at Lord of Life on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Families Anonymous is a super group of people just like you helping “anyone whose life has been adversely affected by another person’s use of drugs, alcohol, or related behavioral problems.” No one will be shocked at what you are facing; they simply hope to help you face your situation as others have helped them. Anonymous means no last names, no forms to complete, no formal sign-up.
